The Insti­tu­tion aims at over all devel­op­ment of pupil, com­bin­ing ancient study sys­tems with mod­ern tech­nol­o­gy. Stu­dents are there by encour­aged to par­tic­i­pate in var­i­ous cul­tur­al events  and com­pe­ti­tions at var­i­ous lev­els viz., col­lege, dis­trict, state and nation­al lev­els  con­duct­ed, which are not lim­it­ed to dance, singing, art, ora­to­ry, writ­ing etc.

Social Respon­si­bil­i­ty

1.  In 2005, an amount of Rs. 25, 000/ was pro­vid­ed to the Hon­or­able Dis­trict Deputy Com­mis­sion­er to the Nation­al Dis­as­ter Fund of the Gov­ern­ment of India for the tsuna­mi tragedy.

2. In the year 2007, in the Malana fire dis­as­ter of Kul­lu dis­trict, approx­i­mate­ly Rs. 1,00,000/- was col­lect­ed from the pub­lic by the stu­dents and pro­fes­sors and 300 blan­kets were also car­ried to Malana by the stu­dents and pro­fes­sors through vol­un­teer ser­vice.

3. Rs. 11000/- to the Prime Min­is­ter’s Assis­tance Fund for Covid-19 by Sri Vyas San­skrit Mahavidyalaya.

4. Assis­tance of Rs.50000/- to the Prime Min­is­ter’s Assis­tance Fund for Covid-19 by Sri Vyas San­skrit Mahavidyalaya for flood relief in Kul­lu July 2023.

Spir­i­tu­al Coun­te­nance

1. Con­tin­u­ous orga­ni­za­tion of Yagya,  and spir­i­tu­al rit­u­als at Sri Swa­mi Mad­ha­vanand Saraswati Veda Vidya Shodh Sansthan Vyasashram since 27 years.

2. An esti­mat­ed amount of Rs 15,00000/- was spent on the above events since 27 years.

3. Train­ing cen­ter for curi­ous stu­dents and spir­i­tu­al seek­ers.

Schol­ar­ship Pro­grams

 The col­lege also pro­vides finan­cial assis­tance to poor and deserv­ing stu­dents through schol­ar­ships. Esti­mat­ed Rs. 2,00,000/- per stu­dent in all the pre­vi­ous ses­sions.

 Library Facil­i­ties

The col­lege has an exten­sive and excel­lent library of authen­tic San­skrit texts, which has suf­fi­cient mate­r­i­al for research work in the sub­jects of gram­mar, phi­los­o­phy, lit­er­a­ture and Vedas. Along with this, the library is also equipped with nation­al lev­el mag­a­zines in San­skrit and Hin­di.

Pub­lish­ing Activ­i­ty

 Suc­cess­ful­ly sup­port­ing the pub­li­ca­tion of the quar­ter­ly Kran­tisu­tra Hin­di mag­a­zine of Indi­an ide­ol­o­gy at the nation­al lev­el since 2007 and five nation­al lev­el awards like edi­tor Rat­na and Ramd­hari Singh ‘Dinkar’ etc
